Dr Yorai Sella

Dr Yorai Sella Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist and a psychoanalytic and Humanistic-integrative psychotherapist. He founded and directed 'Maga' Zen-shiatsu training, is the co-founder and co-director of a three year post-graduate training in 'East-West Integrative Psychotherapy', School of Social Work, Tel-Aviv University and teaches a course on "Buddhist contributions to the mind-body question in psychoanalysis" in the psychotherapy programme, Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University. He is a member of the Israeli chapter of IAPSP, of the steering committee of the 'Integrative Psychiatry' service, Haemek Hospital, Afula, and of 'The Israeli Association for Interdisciplinary Psychotherapy'. His recent publications include "The sense of sense: a revised perspective on the schizoid dilemma in light of Winnicott's concept of the true self and Merleau-Ponty's phenomenology" (Ma-arag, Israel Annual of Psychoanalysis, 5:213-239, 2014). He has also published both fiction and poetry in Hebrew. Yorai has practiced Tai-Chi and martial arts for the past 30 years and is a student of Zen-Buddhism. Dr Yorai Sella
